    Tornado

Our recent storm chasing expedition to led us to this storm in southwestern Kansas.The entire cloud was rotating and heading toward us. The mid level cloud was rotating even faster. And, if you look carefully slightly to the right of center along the horizon you can see the beginning of a tornado. We moved away to a position of more safety, the tornado lifted, and reached the ground again several miles to the east. A beautiful storm and a beautiful afternoon!
